Buntilicious – New Logo

New logo design for new business Buntilicious. When your client asks for “something cute”, I think this pretty much fits the bill.

I thoroughly enjoyed designing this logo. A lot of my work recently has been very bold, with lots of strong colour and geometric shapes. It was so lovely to be able to be a little more flamboyant and, dare I say, ‘girlie’.

Buntilicious is a brand new business ran by Donna; specialising in homemade bunting and cushion covers, and they are just adorable. All of the fabrics are chosen personally by Donna and she only chooses items that she loves. Buntilicious is a real labour of love and I urge you to pop on over to their Facebook Page and have a look. Remember, Christmas is just around the corner and these would make a fantastic gift!

Logo Design for Raphael Bond Ltd

Today I’m sharing a logo from another new business set up.

Logos - Raphael Bond

Raphael Bond Ltd provides business development, property and project management for the education and care sector. The Director Mark is the husband of a very good friend of mine. I always find it more difficult doing design work for people you know – what if they hate it? What if they judge me? What if they regret coming to someone they know rather than going to a super big corporation? I have to see these people on a regular basis!… I know, I know, have more confidence in yourself Helen!

So, this was a tricky one design wise. The business is one of a kind offering a whole range of services, that and Mark is more than likely going to develop the business to reach further sectors; after discussions we decided that imagery and a tagline were’t an option here. The logo just needed to be simple, just words. I find simple hard. I like a logo to say exactly what it is the business offers. But I’m happy with the outcome, and more importantly so is the client. Hurrah. Another job done.

Your Mental Health Matters

I have been working closely with The Healthy Work Company over the last year; producing their business advertising. They specialise in Mental Health for businesses. I have learnt A LOT. Putting this into action though is a whole different story.

So many of us work too hard, stress too hard, play too little and sleep too little. We focus on work, because that’s what we think we need to do to survive (and let’s be honest, we need to pay the bills!). But we can’t survive if we don’t look after and focus on ourselves first. We need to learn to moderate, prioritise and take perspective. We are no use to anyone if we run ourselves down.

This recent design was for a Safety and Health Expo. Imagine your wellbeing and all the pieces that make up your wellbeing… could you keep the tower intact whilst withdrawing key aspects?

The Mama Journal Logo

Another day, another logo! I told you I had been busy working with new businesses.

Logos - The Mama Journal

This one is for a new blog called The Mama Journal – promoting and championing mamas and the amazing things they do! Obviously something that is very close to my own heart, being a work from home Mum.

Pop over and take a look at the blog themamajournal.com Rupa’s writing is superb!

Indian Logo Design

Wow, it appears to be a busy time of the year for new businesses. This last month I have produced four logos, that’s a lot for my little business.

Today I’d like to share with you this little beauty. I have to admit that I’m a little bit in love with this logo… those colours are amazing!

Logos - Jhumka Jewellery

Aarti is starting her new business Jhumka Jewellery, selling, well yes, Jhumka jewellery. (Who wouldn’t want a pair of those earrings right?) I have worked with Aarti before; producing her wedding stationery, so it was an absolute honour that she came back for a logo design. I wish her every success in her new venture x

Helping A New Business Begin It’s Adventure

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping a new business to get off the ground – whether that be through creating an identity with branding and logo design, or producing marketing materials to promote to their future customers.

This project was a special one for me as Nicola Hawtrey Jewellery, is owned by my dear friend Nicky. Her stunning handcrafted jewellery is just beautiful. She needed a logo to reflect the elegant, rustic, earth elements of her designs. We chose to keep it simple with font only, in a beautiful gold tone.

Her work is a real labour of love, pop over to her Instagram page and take a look Nicola Hawtrey Jewellery Instagram Page

Country Hounds Logo Design

Country Hounds Logo

Here is the new logo for brand new business Country Hounds.

The clients’ brief was to include a Labrador and the colour teal, and this is the final result. I love the simplicity of the two colours.

Sometimes creating a logo can be hard work, especially for a new business when the client has so many ideas but doesn’t know exactly which direction they want to go in. But Jasminee from Country Hounds was a dream to work with. I wish her every success in her new venture x
